Abies fraseri is used as a Christmas tree because of its soft needles and beautiful conical shape. Blue-green needles with a silvery appearance. Of course also suitable as a garden plant. Prefers to grow in a moist, acidic, sandy soil that retains sufficient moisture. Seed cones are broad, erect and cylindrically shaped, measuring 3.5 - 7 cm.
