Small tree with pyramidal to oval crown. Small dark green leaves, 3-7 cm. Spectacular autumn colors in yellow and red tones. The flowers are pink in bud, but pure white once opened, in large loose clusters, April. Unlike ordinary Amelanchier lamarckii, this cultivar bears little fruit. These are dark red to black. Strong tree that has little demands on soil, preferably not too wet and slightly calcareous.
