Small tree with densely branched, spherical crown. The heart-shaped leaf is smaller than that of the common Catalpa, 10-15 cm and fresh green in colour. It only appears late in the spring. The autumn colour is yellow. This variety does not bear flowers or fruits. The crown is grafted at a height of approximately 2m20 and is usually pruned annually. Due to the small crown, this tree can be used anywhere, even in small gardens. Grows preferably in permeable soil.
