Fairly tall, upright shrub with soft yellow to yellow-green leaves, oval, 4-8 cm long. Orange-red and yellow autumn colours. Creamy white flowers in flower clusters, May-June. White to blue-white berries. Fine, red branches that make the plant attractive in winter too. Recommended because of the beautiful leaf colour. Tolerates shade (the leaf then becomes lime green) and moist soils.
