Low-growing shrub with a bushy growth habit, up to 1 metre wide. The young twigs are reddish brown. The leaves emerge bronze to brownish red, later they are bright green. The sulphurous yellow flower plumes are striking and bloom almost all summer long, flowering from May to August. Excellent, healthy shrub that attracts many butterflies and bees. Grows on all soils, including dry ones, in the sun, semi-shade or even full shade.
