Dense and low shrub, spreading, a compact variety originated from Euonymus alatus. Small and inconspicuous, greenish white flowers in May-June, followed by purple-red fruits. Spectacular, bright red autumn colour. In contrast to Euonymus alatus, this variety has few corky ridges on the branches. An easy plant, very suitable for the smaller garden because of its slow growth. Tolerates sun or partial shade in almost any soil.
