Striking winter flowering shrub with orange flowers over a long flowering period. Broad upright growth habit, growing as wide as it does high. Green, oval leaves that turn beautifully from yellow to orange-red in the autumn. Very large, copper-coloured orange flowers, turning orange-pink to ochre-yellow when they fade, December-January. The flowers are resistant to moderate frost. Prefers to grow in partial shade, but a sunny location is also possible. For a nutritious, humus-rich soil. Richly flowering, beautiful witch hazel.
