Striking winter bloomer with sulphur yellow flowers over a long flowering period. Broad upright growth habit, growing as wide as it does high. Green, oval leaves that turn beautifully from yellow to orange-red in the autumn. 'Pallida' is characterised by the particularly pleasantly scented flowers. These are large, richly flowering and sulphur yellow in colour, January-February. Prefers to grow in semi-shade but a position in the sun is also possible. For a nutritious, humus-rich soil. Highly recommended because of the scent.
