Hibiscus syriacus 'Flower Tower Ruby' has a narrow, upright, columnar growth habit and is therefore very suitable for smaller gardens. But with its beautiful dark pink-red, semi-double flowers with a red heart, Flower Tower Ruby is an asset to any garden, on a balcony or terrace or as a hedge.
Hibiscus 'Flower Tower Ruby' blooms continuously from late July to early October and attracts bees and butterflies. After 10 years, this shrub grows to approximately 3m high and 80cm wide. Pruning is not necessary, but can be done in the spring if desired. Flower Tower Ruby branches well, grows quickly and is hardy to -25 º C.
Flowers on one-year-old wood and can therefore be pruned in the spring if necessary. However, pruning is usually unnecessary due to the compact growth habit. Can be planted in groups or as a solitary plant. Requires a sunny position and well-drained, humus-rich soil.
