'Silver Dollar' is a panicle hydrangea with very dense, full flower panicles and relatively compact growth. It grows upright, with sturdy branches that support the flowers well. The blooms start white and change to pink later in the summer. This pink color lasts well into autumn.

As with all panicle hydrangeas, pruning early in spring is recommended to encourage many large flower panicles.

All hydrangeas require a sufficiently humus-rich, moist soil. They grow best in light shade. In full sun, the leaves may droop.
