'Heckenfee' is a beautiful female cultivar. Upright habit, comparable to the male partners 'Heckenstar' and 'Heckenpracht'. Oval leaves up to 5 cm long and 3 cm wide, dark green and glossy. In May-June white flowers, followed by shiny red fruits 6-9 mm thick, coloring earlier than other varieties. This species is suitable as a solitary as well as for hedging. Holly grows in full sun, partial shade and shade, but requires a sufficiently moist, humus-rich soil. They do not like lime soil. Very wet soils are not suitable for holly.
