Flower white with loose inflorescence, beautiful in flower bouquets. Leaf dark green. Leaf height 40 cm, flower height 80 cm. Requires a moist soil, not too nutritious. Often used as underplanting of trees or for other shady places. Beautiful in combination with ferns.
The flower spikes are best cut off after flowering (July) so that they do not sow. This species spreads via runners, but is not very rampant.
