Morus alba 'Fruitless' is a male cultivar that blooms profusely with 5 centimeter long hanging catkins. Does not bear fruit. The large leaves (10-19 cm) are strikingly glossy green, egg-shaped and sometimes incised.
Can be used to form a roof tree.
Likes to grow in a sunny, warm location. Grows well on dry and poor soil and is lime-loving.
