Evergreen shrub with short stalked, dark green, leathery leaves. White, sweet-smelling flowers in bundles in April-May. Preferably grows in the sun or partial shade, on any fertile soil as long as it is not too wet. This beautiful shrub tolerates strict pruning well and can be used well as planting, for trimming massifs or as a hedge. Osmanthus burkwoodii is a bee and coastal plant and tolerates air pollution well.
