Spherical shape of the pin oak with densely branched crown. Slow growing selection that is grafted onto a trunk. It is a small, compact tree that can eventually grow to 4 meters high. The dark green, lobed leaf (7-15 cm) has a red to brown-red autumn color, less striking than the common pin oak (Quercus palustris). Easy tree, that also grows well in wet soil.
