Rhododendron 'Blue Tit' Rhododendron
Rhododendrons grow best in acidic, humus-rich, moist but permeable soil. This can be achieved by mixing a large amount of peat or DCM Vivimus for acid-loving plants with the soil in the planting hole. Most grow best in more or less shaded places. Although usually slow-growing, some species can still reach a reasonable height. If you want to prune them, it is best to do this immediately after flowering. Remove the faded flowers immediately, then no growth-inhibiting seed formation occurs.
