The most common and well-known yew with fresh dark green foliage. Wide pyramid shape. Tolerates pruning very well and is therefore very suitable as a hedge plant or as a pruning shape, and because of its slow growth especially for smaller hedges. As a hedge plant, it only needs to be pruned once a year. Can also be used as a loose shrub. Not for wet soils.
