This new cultivar (2010, Budapest) can grow 8 to 12 meters high, and has a broad, ovoid, dense crown. The relatively small leaves are glossy green and heart-shaped with a coarsely serrated edge. Yellow autumn color. 'Buda' is an aphid-free cultivar and a host tree for bees and butterflies.
Suitable for smaller gardens. Grows on dry soils and tolerates heat well.
