The large-leaved linden is a strong tree that grows well on all soil types. It has an egg-shaped crown with heart-shaped leaves (up to 12 cm in size) that appear earlier than on the small-leaved linden. Blooms the earliest of all linden trees, in June / July with fragrant, yellow flowers. This linden tree is not very sensitive to louse.
